- Legal Requirement (Spain): In accordance with Spanish law, we are required to provide the identification details of all guests to the Guardia Civil or the local police within 24 hours of arrival.
- Secure payment: Processing of deposits and security deposits via Stripe.
5. Shelf Life
- Police records: Your personal information is retained for 5 years, in accordance with Spanish law on the safety of tourist accommodations.
- Reservation data: Retained for as long as necessary for administrative and tax purposes (generally 10 years for accounting purposes).

Your information is never sold. It is shared only with:
- Smoobu: Our reservation management software (Channel Manager).
- Stripe : Our secure payment processor.
- Spanish authorities: The Civil Guard / Police for mandatory passenger registration.
